Analysis of systems for the infiltration of precipitation run-off according to the DWA-A 138 standard (Deutsche Vereinigung für Wasserwirtschaft, Abfall und Abwasser e.V.; Planung, Bau und Betrieb von Anlagen zur Versickerung von Niederschlagswasser, April 2005).

The following systems can be analysed:

• Surface infiltration 
• Swale infiltration 
• Pipe infiltration 
• French drain infiltration 
• Shaft infiltration (type A and B) 
• Basin infiltration 
• Certain combinations of the above systems 

Capabilities:

• Analysis using rainfall intensity tables from the KOSTRA atlas („Koordinierte Starkniederschlags-Regionalisierungs-Auswertung“) 
• Import of the rainfall intensity data determined using the KOSTRA atlas via a file or via the Windows clipboard 
• Draft design also using Reinhold's rainfall series’ 
• The permeability of the chosen soil can be selected from an expandable database of common soils for certain infiltration systems  
• Combination of infiltration systems compliant with DWA-A 138, e.g.: 
  • Swale french drain infiltration,  
  • Paving with swale, 
  • Paving with pipe or french drain, 
  • Paving with french drain, etc.  
• Pipe drain with multiple pipes possible 
• Analysis of infiltration systems for any frequencies (recurrence intervals) 
• Calculation of draining times for given infiltration types 
• User-defined output sheet 
• Print or copy screen sections, e.g. for transfer to a word processor 
• Integrated Mini-CAD system for additional annotation of graphics

  • Bug: Mouse does not always work in system view
  • Bug: Dimensions displayed with "Show bottom edge (BE)" are sometimes placed inconsistently and partially overlap with the labeling of the infiltration trench.
  • Bug: "Show bottom edge (BE)" also simultaneously triggers the display of a dimension.
  • Bug: Show bottom edge (BE) has no effect.
  • Bug: Elevation mark BE-trench should be called BE-swale
  • Feature: F9 Recalculate (adjust world coordinates to infiltration elements)
