Analysis of transient groundwater flow using the finite-element-method based on a three-dimensional groundwater system analyzed using GGU-3D-SSFLOW
Capabilities:
- Import of the steady-state groundwater data: soil parameters, soil colors, system geometry, steady-state boundary conditions etc. from the computer program GGU-3D-SSFLOW
- Graphics oriented input and editing of time boundary conditions, e.g. polygons for time-data pairs, potentials or sources
- Graphics oriented input and editing of fixed boundary conditions, e.g. potentials, point, linear and diffuse sources
- Possibility to define a time-dependent function for the permeability, k = f(time)
- Proposal of standard values for the volume of water relative to the total volume in the unsaturated zone, nw = f(u)
- With it: possibility to manually change the values nw = f(u) by the user
- Evaluation and visualization of flow lines with distance and time increment
- Consideration of seepage lines and unsaturated zones
- Visualization of hydrographs for potentials, velocities, gradients and discharge for selected system nodes
- Time-oriented visualization of velocities, discharges, gradients or potentials, e.g. as normal, color-filled or 3D contours for user defined sections
