GGU-DRAWDOWN
GGU-DRAWDOWN
Analysis and optimisation of water management using multiple-well installations
Capabilities:
- Analysis of the water management of excavation pits with rectangular, polygonal and any other geometry
- Consideration of open water and sheet pile walls possible
- System can be defined using absolute elevations
- Determination of permeability coefficients according to Hazen or Beyer possible
- Determination of the drawdown range after Sichardt, Kussakin or Weyrauch, or as a fixed value possible
- Correction of the range of the drawdown for small values of the permeability, for small drawdown or large excavations
- Estimation of the time until the drawdown target is achieved
- Consideration of confined groundwater possible
- Optimization routines for number, radius and depth of wells
- Computation of the range of the drawdown as a function of the duration
- Sump pumping analyze after Davidenkoff for rectangular excavations
- Graphical evaluations, e.g. visualization of groundwater drawdown as normal, color-filled or 3D contours
- Contour visualization including wells possible
- Drawdown sections with automatic visualization of section course
- Automatic generation of system sections as a legend
- Visualization of the drawdown cone below the base of the excavation pit, below the at-rest groundwater table or above the filter base
- Result output table
- Print or copy screen sections, e.g. for transfer to a word processor
- Integrated Mini-CAD system for additional annotation of graphics

Analysis of multiple well installations and sump pumping with GGU-DRAWDOWN (36min)
This webinar will demonstrate the GGU-DRAWDOWN program’s ability to analyze multiple well installations and sump pumping after Davidenkoff. Rectangular, circular and polygonal excavation pits of any shape can be analyzed. The influence of open water, confined aquifers and sheet pile walls can be taken into consideration. The program has optimization routines for the well number, the radius and the well depth. And – as with every GGU program - the comprehensive graphical evaluation options allow the…
