Recommendations on Excavations (EAB)

The aim of the Recommendations is the standardisation and development of procedures for design, analysis and execution of retaining walls for excavations. The Recommendations have been developed by the Working Group for Excavations of the German Society for Geotechnics since 1980 under the name EAB (Empfehlungen des Arbeitskreises Baugruben) and have the character of standards. All commonly used software applications are based on them.
